Are you new to University or have never done a hackathon before? Introducing the Hackiethon, a hackathon catered specially for rookies. We’ve removed some of the primary barriers of joining hackathons to help you experience the enjoyment and learning of a hackathon in a comfortable environment where you’re surrounded by people in the same boat as you!
Hackiethon 2021 will run on the 2nd- 5th April. Sign up as a complete team, or individually where you can form a team with other keen hackers to create something amazing! There will be regular mentor check-ins, workshops and guides to teach you all the skills you need and guide your team through the project ideation and creation process.
Eligibility
Any student (University or high school) can join Hackiethon. To be eligible for prizes,this must be your first hackathon. Read our roles on our website for more information.
Requirements
Participants are required to submit a website product that satisfies the theme along with an explanatory video to showcase their website. Please note that the explanatory video will only be used as a guide and will NOT be judged.
